Introduction to 2025 Sale

First of all, thank you for considering to support the 5th annual Holiday Sale.  This year, we are going above and beyond to raise money for homeless teens at Cocoon House--with more community partnerships, new products, strategic volunteer help, presentations at local elementary schools,  and much more. After raising $350 for No Kids Hungry in 2021, over $700 for Cocoon House in 2022,  over $1200 for Cocoon House in 2023,  and nearly $1600 in 2024, we are aiming even higher to support our charity--with a goal of $2000 for Cocoon House. All treats in the sale are hand-crafted by our family or community volunteers, many using family recipes, and are sure to invoke a nostalgia of the holiday season for your family. These treats make perfect goodies for holiday parties, stocking stuffers, sweets to adorn holiday gift plates, or just midnight snacks. So, please, both enjoy purchasing quality treats for your family and the peace of mind knowing that you helped a homeless teen feel some of the same joy you get by biting into that cookie.

 

Cocoon House

Cocoon House is an Everett-based shelter and outreach center that has the goal to "end the cycle of homelessness" by providing care to dysfunctional families, opening discourse with teens on the streets, and maintaining a temporary home for homeless teens to be able to reside in. This holiday season, our community needs to embrace compassion towards these struggling youths by supporting Cocoon House via monetary donations, comforting meals, or service in their shelters.  One way you can support Cocoon House is through purchasing products or giving monetary donations to our Holiday Sale 2025.

Ordering

Orders may be purchased online using credit, debit, or apple pay or through card or cash--for in-person Hot-Cocoa Day, door-to-door sale, and community pop-ups. To purchase online, visit the "Shop" tab of this website.

Windows for Purchase/Fulfillment

Between November 18th and December 20th the ordering window will be open online.

Additionally, between December 15th and December 22nd, all orders will be fulfilled. 

 

Order Fulfillment

For this sale, there are two ways of order fulfillment: short-range delivery and pick-up. This year again we will not be fulfilling orders requiring shipping or long-range delivery.

 

Delivery:

On your order form, an option for date and time of delivery will be available. Please indicate these, so we can best accommodate your order fulfillment experience. When delivering your order, a volunteer or member of our executive team will notify you--as they are on their way to make the delivery and when they have arrived. They will come up to the doorstep with such order and knock/ring. If someone answers, they will hand them the order--along with receipt and a form that must be signed. If no-one answers, than the order will be brought back to the main kitchen AND a new delivery date/time will be arranged.

Hot Cocoa Day

For this year's sale, Hot Cocoa Day is BACK! Enjoy FREE mini-cups of homemade hot cocoa, FREE samples, the ability to talk with our family about our business & mission, and the ability to purchase treats in-person.  For this year's Hot Cocoa Days, we are planning to host it at a community location, not outside the main kitchen!! This location is TBA currently, but stay on the lookout for more details in December. Our 2025 Hot Cocoa Day will be on Saturday, December 20th-both from 12:00 to 4:00 PM. Don't miss an exclusive opportunity to stock up on our 5 cookie flavors, fudge, peanut brittle, peppermint bark, and EXCLUSIVE drinks--such as mulled hot cider and frothy hot cocoa--all conveniently packaged for purchase on the day you browse.

Entrepreneurship Presentations 

Do you have a young, talented elementary student in the local Everett Public School districts? Well then, Josh for Baker Boy's Baked Goods may be visiting your child's classroom this holiday season. Throughout over nine schools, we are providing an opportunity for highly capable youth in the Everett-area to learn the skills of entrepreneurship, why to start a business, and how to start a business. Engaging in our presentation, students will learn more about us and how to let their ideas come to life. Free samples of our brown butter chocolate chip cookies will be provided. These presentations are to further our goal of providing support and a feeling of belonging to youth in the community.

Door-to-Door Sale

After the success of our trial operations at the end of the 2024 Holiday Sale, raising us over $600 in ONE day, we are bringing back local neighborhood door-to-door sales. These sales bring our business back to its roots in the one-to-one, customer service driven interactions between us, our volunteers, and the members of the community.

 

In Mill Creek, Snohomish, Everett, and Bothell area neighborhoods, our volunteers will be fanning out through the streets with a tray of treats, informational flyers, product menus, a cash bag, and a POS/card reader. We will accept cash and credit for direct sales of individual cookie packs, fudge, peanut brittle, and peppermint bark. Also avaliable will be the opportunity to place an online order for our full selection of products.

National Cookie Day

Guess what? Thats right, December 4th is coming up again and you know what that means. National Cookie Day is around the corner again! At Baker Boy's Baked Goods, we're all for a good cookie and so, to celebrate this holiday, we will be giving out a captivating compensation to our loyal customers. Each online order that day will come with 2 FREE brown butter chocolate chip cookies. Along with this, ALL individual cookies and the Holiday Cookie Pack are 20% OFF!! FAQs

Q: I have dietary needs that force me to not be able to enjoy sweets. Can I still support?

A: Although we suggest buying some of our baked goods for families, friends, neighbors, or guests, you could also support Cocoon House with a monetary donation. This can be done via our website or in a jar placed out at our Hot Cocoa Days.

Q: Is there a comprehensive way to know what food allergens are in your baked goods? Is there a way to know if one of your baked goods is compatible with my dietary needs?

A: During this year's Holiday Sale, we are adding food allergen and dietary needs labeling to our online system and physical products. Food allergens and dietary needs include dairy-free, vegan, gluten-free, peanut-free, tree nut free, peanut-free, and low sugar. For physical indication, look for a small sticker on individual packaged items and complete orders.​

Q: Where will your Hot Cocoa Social be this year?

A:  For now, our Hot Cocoa Social locations are TBD, but it not be at our main kitchen location anymore. Look for more updates in early December on the website and social media platforms, regarding location and further details on the events. ​

Q: Is there any benefit if I order your products during the last week of online ordering?

A: For all of our last-minute customers or those begging for more, we have a special offer from December 15th to December 20th. All online orders between this period, with carts valued at $25 or more, will receive an automatic 20% discount. Don't miss out!

Q:  Are you incorporating volunteer help for this sale? How can I be a volunteer?

A: Yes! During this year's Holiday Sale, we are using volunteers for the very first time. Volunteers will assist with baking, packing, and delivering the products--along with helping with order processing, running the Hot Cocoa Day, doing door-to-door sale, promoting in the community, and taking inventory. Anyone over 13, with a work ethic and commitment to helping out is welcome--while certain requirements are necessary to complete for kitchen roles. Q: How else can I support Cocoon House?

A: While assisting in our charity sale is good work, you can go above and beyond to support Cocoon House by helping to cook monthly meals for them, supporting with additional monetary donations, assisting in food/clothing drives, working at the front desk of their main office, volunteering to do backyard maintenance, hosting fundraisers similar to this one, and even considering to host a home for a homeless teen.
